Are ghosts real?
Of course they are. In a simulated universe, anomalies will exist.
Not only do ghosts exist, but we’ve likely been seeing different anomalies all throughout history.
In the simulation, resources are allocated according to the number of observers. More resources are dedicated to areas with a higher concentration of observers, while fewer resources go to less frequented places.
This means that resources are focused on rendering scenes in bustling city centers and other areas where people congregate. Conversely, fewer resources are allocated to remote or less observed areas, resulting in a higher likelihood of anomalies occurring. In these less populated regions, the simulation may not render objects or events as accurately, giving rise to unusual phenomena and unexplained occurrences.
History
Throughout history, there have been numerous accounts of dragons, ghosts, fairies, trolls, aliens, mermaids, and other supernatural beings. While many of these tales may be products of imaginative storytelling, it would be imprudent to dismiss the possibility of anomalies within a simulation. In other words, these entities might have been genuinely real to those who experienced them.
Night
Do we instinctively fear the night due to the predator-laden darkness of our ancestors’ experiences, or is it because a larger number of people are asleep, resulting in increased anomalous occurrences in reality? At night, we can sense an unsettling feeling that makes our skin crawl. It feels as though a face might suddenly materialize in a mirror or a ghost could emerge from a wall. Our souls seem to be attuned to these potential anomalies.
Dreams
Our own dreams can be a tool in dreamism to decipher our subconscious, or what our soul is trying to communicate. Just like a movie within a movie, our dreams are within a dream, so they’re extremely fragmented. Think about a tv show or movie you’ve seen where the characters are watching a movie. The movie is fragmented, and hardly makes sense because we’re not getting the full picture.
Hallucinations
In ancient times, people utilized herbs, mushrooms, and cave gases to induce altered states of consciousness, not merely for recreational purposes, but with the intention of accessing higher levels of reality. These substances served as tools to help transcend our ordinary reality, enabling the soul to experience other realms. Similarly, deep meditation can provide a pathway to such transcendental experiences.
