What is our role in nature?

In this damaged reality, nature itself has become politicized. Back in the 90s, countries all over the world worked together to fix the holes in our ozone layer, and because of their efforts, the problem has been largely improved. Today, there’s little chance of such a collaborative effort ever unfolding in the current geopolitical landscape and it’s all by design. See, back in the 1950s, there was a program started called MKUltra and it went on for 20 years where the CIA spent an untold fortune on mind control and indoctrination methods. This is common knowledge, but many people chalk the experiment up as a failure, and simply a dark part of our history. As if the CIA spent all of that money for nothing, and just discarded all of their findings.

Truth is, the CIA found a treasure trove of information they’re still using today to scare us into obedience, and keeping us fighting one another, rather than looking to the powers that be. After their studies concluded, then came the 24 hour news cycle, the bright red alerts, the incessant coverage on every petty crime, the arrests in your local paper. It’s meant to make you afraid, and reliant on them, like an abusive relationship. Keep paying us, and we’ll keep you safe. The other side wants you dead, and will take everything you have if you don’t vote for us. It’s extreme fear mongering, and emotional manipulation to keep you stressed and sick.

So, something as painfully obvious as “let’s keep the fish bowl we live in clean,” became politicized and people believe it’s just something they can debate, like pineapple on pizza. It isn’t. Our role as Dreamists is to protect nature, because this simulation was built for us. G-d placed everything here for us to maintain, and it’s our responsibility as the only creatures sentient enough(at present) to do so. It’s not enough to just pick up after ourselves, that’s a given. We have to become climate activists. We’re one with G-d, and G-d is visible all around us in nature. What we have done to this planet is an assault on G-d, and a slap in the face for what that entity left us. It’s also a slap in the face for the generations we leave behind.

Now, it would be silly to suggest that fixing the world is all on the individual, but it does start with you and your voice. You must lead by example, and be such a good example that people want to follow your lead. Plant trees, feed birds, make seed bombs. Greenify your area, and work with the community to plant gardens, clean up your neighborhood and streets, feed the homeless. One day, if we don’t figure this out before our mindless overconsumption creates a runaway effect, the world as we know it will cease to exist, but not before a couple generations live through the most miserable, and final age of human history. Become a revolutionary leader, and advocate for the voiceless animals who we’ve encroached on. We’re in a major extinction event, and half of us walk around completely oblivious to the dangers lurking in our consumption. We must get active as Dreamists, and fight the powers that be. The corporations, the ultra rich, and this accelerationist lifestyle.

The sad part is, most people don’t even realize how close we are to the edge, and many believe that we’ll consume our way out of it. We’re relying on technology that hasn’t even been built yet to get us out of this mess, when the solution was staring us in the face all along. We have to return to our roots. We have to leave this hyper capitalistic lifestyle behind, and go back only consuming what we need. We’ve stripped our soil of its nutrients, killed our forests, and poisoned our water supplies, all in the name of MORE. Now, none of this is to scare you, it’s to enlighten you to the trouble we face. It’s not just an uphill battle against corporations, the ultra rich, and careless governments, we’re up against changing the way people think, and getting them away from decades of indoctrination.

..and it all starts with you. No pressure. This is what Dreamism is about. We have a higher calling because we understand what’s at stake. We understand the implications for our kids, and the world we leave behind. We want to leave the world in better condition than we’ve found it, something no generation has done before us, and we have to break that pattern, whether by general strike or revolution. It’s our G-dbound duty. One of our highest callings.

We’ll close with some further reading, should you want to explore just how bad things are, and what we’re up against. Just remember, you’re not doing any of this alone. We’re right here with you, working alongside you, no matter how far away in the world you might find yourself.
